Documents to Take to Lender

On your first visit to the Lender you will need to bring the following documents:

 

¨ Most Recent Pay Stubs—30 Days

¨ Most Recent Bank Statements—3 Months

¨ Tax Returns—2 Years

¨ Photo ID and proof of Social Security number

¨ Certificate of Eligibility of DD214’s (if applying for a V.A. loan).

 

You will also need to have the following information handy so that you lender can process your loan:

 

¨ Residence addresses for past two years.

¨ Names and addresses of each employer for past two years.

¨ Names, account numbers, and balances for all checking and savings accounts.

¨ Names, account numbers, balances, and monthly payments on all current loans.

¨ Loan information and addresses of owned real estate.

 

 

The Lender will explain the complete “Loan Process” and the several phases that are involved, they are:

 

¨ Pre-qualification review

¨ Pre-Approval

¨ Application

¨ Processing

¨ Underwriting

¨ Approval/Denial

¨ Settlement
