Inspections
            The most common type of inspection regarding a real estate transaction is the general home inspection.   Discuss with you Hawkins Group Agent on how to best structure your purchase in regards to inspections and inspection contingencies. 

Homeowners Insurance
            Homeowners insurance must be purchased by the purchaser prior to the date of settlement.  Homeowners insurance is an insurance that protects the homeowner from "casualty" and "liability".  Casualty is loss or damage to the home or personal property.  Liability is damage to other people or property.  Homeowners insurance is required by the lender and should be a requirement of any purchaser not using a lender.
