Appraisal

The appraisal is not a home inspection!  The job of an appraiser is simply to come up with the most accurate value of the worth of the home.  The appraised value is the maximum amount that a lender will lend on that particular property.  However, the appraised value, in some instances, may not be the amount the highest bidder is willing to pay for the property.

As a purchaser, speak with your experienced Hawkins Group real estate agent to find out what role appraisals play in achieving an offer price for your home of choice.
